The Chicago White Sox and Dimensional Innovations, have created a catcher’s mask VR headset using Oculus goggles for fans.
The catcher’s mask, Sox VR, is a full 360 virtual reality experience for White Sox fans with all of the content created by the organization, White Sox Director of Digital Communications Brad Boron told the Chicago Tribune.
“If you see a great moment happen at the ballpark, a milestone or just hanging around the White Sox locker room, we are able to capture that in full a 360, HD camera and put it right into the headset and fans will be able to experience it,” he said.
