Cleveland Indians’ Trevor Bauer, Chicago Cubs Fan Jason Mollett Have Fun With Drone Trolling

Chicago Cubs fan Jason Mollett spent time the day after his team clinched a spot in the World Series setting in motion a plan to have some fun with Cleveland Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer.

“I’m a baaaad man,” Mollett wrote on Facebook. “I pulled off an epic troll of the Cleveland Indians.”

Mollett went on Amazon to purchase an $11.98 Cheerson Mini Quadcopter and had it quickly shipped using Amazon Prime to Progressive Field c/o Trevor Bauer. It was Bauer whose previous playoff start was cut short due to the bleeding resulting from an accident that saw his custom drone slice his pinky finger.

Mollett’s hilarious gift and the note he attached was not only received by Bauer, but also went viral.

“Sweet! I’m a footnote in the World Series!” Mollett wrote.

Bauer went on to start in Game 2 and take the loss, as he lasted only 3 2/3 innings and gave up two runs. He had to address more questions about the finger that had been cut during the drone accident after the Cubs’ 5-1 win on Wednesday.

“They beat us tonight,” Indians manager Terry Francona told reporters after the game. “It wasn’t because somebody had a bad finger.”

Mollett won as well.

“#FlyTheW #FlyTheDrone,” he wrote.
