1. What is your elevator pitch?
FocusMotion is creating the future of wearable technology with an intelligent algorithm that understands and interprets human movement.
2. Problem & Solution
Tracking human movement is a tedious practice of data entry by hand or using expensive computer vision equipment, and unfortunately, the multi-million device, multi-billion dollar wearable market is crowded with devices that can only understand and track steps.
FocusMotion has developed a hardware and OS agnostic, intelligent algorithm that uses the sensors already present in these devices to track what movements are performed, how many times they’re performed, and how well they’re performed.

The use of automated tracking in Physical Therapy, Sport, Fitness, and Workforce Monitoring Markets represents a $5B space by 2018.

It was the perfect combination of sport and technology with a strong sport brand like the Dodgers and strong branding group like RGA.

What do you want the audience to know about your venture?
Our goal is to map the entirety of human movement through wearable platforms so that users, patients, and athletes will have a deeper more personal understanding of their physiology for training, therapy, and general health.
If you were to invite any CEO to dinner who would it be and why?
James Dyson: a brilliant entrepreneur with an incredible drive.
If you could go to any sporting event, what would it be and why?
In the near future, I think that there will be a Paralympic athlete with prosthetics who will run faster and jump farther than non-augmented athletes, forever changing the perception of human athleticism. I’d like to be there in the stadium during that moment.
