 1. What is your elevator pitch?

LeagueApps equips sports organizations with the technology, resources and connections they need to create sports programs in their communities.

2. Problem & Solution

We know first-hand that running a sports organization is incredible difficult.

LeagueApps helps our partners save time by streamlining sport program management. Our solutions are unique to the tournaments, teams, leagues and camps themselves. LeagueApps does this through a software platform that offers  solutions for custom website development with applications for messaging, scheduling, e-commerce, reporting, registration and payment.

3. Market – your target market and the overall market

LegueApps goal is to be a valuable partner to sports organizations and participants around the world. There are hundreds of thousands of team sports organizations in the United States. Over 60 million people in the US compete in a team sport.

4. Business Model – how do you make money?

LeagueApps is a SaaS platform that charges a small software licensing fee to sports organizations based on their registration transactions volume. This consumption model enables any sports organization to utilize the LeagueApps platform at an affordable cost.

5. Management Team – with titles

Brian Litvack – CEO

Jeremy Goldberg – President

Steve Parker – CTO

6. What specifically attracted you to the opportunity to join the Dodgers/RGA Accelerator?

The opportunity to partner with the Dodgers and work closely with RGA has been incredible. The unparalleled access to an elite sports network has helped accelerate many key LeagueApps initiatives. As a more established startup (compared to a typical accelerator program) both the Dodgers and RGA were keenly aware of our current growth plan and have tailored a specific program to help LeagueApps acheive it’s goals. They’ve been a consummate teammate throughout the program.

Bonus Questions:

What do you want the audience to know about your venture?

We believe that sport has the power to change lives. And it’s why we go to work each day—to shape the present and future of play by supporting the people who make it all happen.

If you were stuck on a desert island with any three athletes, who would they be and why?

David Robinson, Shane Battier, Dhani Jones and Paul Rabil. We already have the privilege of working with these athletes and calling them members of the LeagueApps team. They are intelligent, thoughtful, great teammates and even better leaders. They’re is so much we have and will continue to learn from each of them.

If you could go to any sporting event, what would it be and why?

I can’t wait to go to any single one of my kids sporting events. My wife is pregnant with our first child though so we’re in “Spring Training” mode. For any parent on the LeagueApps team, they’d agree that their favorite athletes are their children.
