1. What is your elevator pitch?

ERIC Sports provides teams, academies, and leagues with a customizable suite of tools to integrate advanced analytics and detailed player data with full length videos. Our video analysis platform increases the efficiency of time spent in analysis by reducing the time needed for data transfer and application switching, and our flexible technologies are not one-size-fits-all, but are catered directly for our client's needs, enabling better and more accurate analysis.

2. Problem & Solution

Knowledge management and technology integration are problems for every modern organization across all industries. The ERIC Sports analysis platform is focused on solving this problem for professional and amateur sports organizations. Our suite of tools enables our customers to capture, dissect, and understand their performance on the field as well as integrate other data sources and collaborate on the resulting analysis.

From player tracking data to biometric and advanced analytics, we are able to integrate and synchronize this content with the relevant game or practice film. This technology is customized based on the specific needs of the organization and the flexible and interoperable nature of our platform enables efficient and effective analysis. We are also able to provide report creation and presentation tools to our customers, ensuring cradle to grave analytical support.

3. Market – your target market and the overall market

Despite being the most popular sport in the world, soccer has been slow to join the technological and analytical movement that has become so prevalent in other sports. Even though our tools can be used in many sports, our experience is heavily influenced by our success in the Spanish soccer industry, and it is this experience that we are leveraging as we expand beyond Spain.

In the United States, our target market is the organized soccer industry including professional and college teams as well as academies. We estimate the market size for this type of product in this market to be conservatively $20 million. Within this market, we are able to offer not only our video analysis tool suite, but also our analytical services through our partnership with the retired players association of FC Barcelona.

4. Business Model – how do you make money?

ERIC Sports generates revenue by licensing our suite of video exploitation and data integration tools as well as through sport-focused analysis services. Our licensing fees are based on the level of customization required and the technical needs of our customers. Our soccer analysis services are performed in partnership with retired players from FC Barcelona (http://www.ericsports.io/analytical-services/). Due to our relationship with the club, we are able leverage their knowledge and expertise to provide world-class analysis of skills and tactics as well as team-based strategies.

5. Management Team – with titles

Jose Antonio Conde - CEO
Jaime Astiz - President
Morgan Flom - US Expansion Manager

6. Financial Needs: are you currently looking for investment? Have you raised investment already? If so, who are your investors?

ERIC Sports has yet to raise any external funding. Currently, we are entirely member-owned. We are not actively looking for investors but are open to the possibility, particularly as it pertains to international expansion.
