In hockey, the goalie can make or break a game.
Now, Hailstone Games, a new independent developer based in Toronto, is allowing hockey fans to get the in-goal experience with their first game — Goalie VR.
Goalie VR puts you in the net with up to five friends using the Goalie VR mobile app to take shots straight at you. Using the HTC VIVE or Oculus Rift, you attempt to block each shot with your stick or body.

As every player has different skill levels, users can choose from Amateur, Semi-Pro or Pro difficulty levels. You can set the controls according to whether you are right-handed or left-handed, customize plays by setting up shooters around the offensive zone, play time- and goal-driven matches, earn achievements and study replays and heat maps.
Vive Tracker can enable the experience for a goalie to feel more realistic.
Goalie VR first went on sale earlier this month and is available on Steam in North America and Europe for $9.99 USD.
