Fitness trainers that are passionate about helping others with their fitness goals now have a new medium to do so in the form of Fitnet, the first-ever trainer-only application that allows certified fitness professionals to quickly and easily upload custom five minute workout videos.

What is unique about Fitnet is that it does not focus on just typical workout videos. It caters to a fitness professional’s schedule. This means that aside from creating the five minute workout videos, trainers can also customize their client’s workout schedule and monitor their progress from their own home or office without actually meeting face to face with the client.

Being limited to the number of clients a trainer can have because of time and schedule conflicts is not a problem with the Fitnet app. Trainers can use the application to expand the scale of their businesses and reaching new clients from around the world. Additionally, trainees have more access to their personal trainers no matter location.

“The ability to quickly and easily upload custom video content and have real-time access to clients’ daily physical activities, workout schedules, goals and scores – even when we’re not present for their workout – enables us to build closer, more intimate and better integrated fitness plans for each client,” said Laurie Maddox, certified fitness professional and founding Fitnet trainer.

“Furthermore, it gives trainers and health coaches the opportunity to expand our businesses across the globe, instead of solely in one city or region.”

The Fitnet application is free of charge, but clients can upgrade to a Fitnet personal trainer for $19 dollars a month, much cheaper than the industry average of $55 per hour. The application will be showcased during the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Shoe (CES) in Las Vegas.
