Frank Lampard The Face Of nanoM’s Health Assessment Facility In Dubai

Retired soccer star Frank Lampard has been unveiled as a brand ambassador for nanoM, a company which has founded a specialist facility to help current and former athletes with performance and injuries.

nanoM’s athletes-focused facility of 17,000 square feet is based out in Dubai and claims to be one of the first in the world to aim to investigate the underlying causes of sports injuries and to try to help to save and extend careers.

Ex-Chelsea FC star Lampard opened the facility in Dubai, and during the launch, a video showed Lampard being put through his paces to showcase the facility’s offering to athletes.

Currently, the company offers six tailored program packages primarily to retired or current athletes, which range from half a day to two days in duration. The programs assess everything from fitness levels, motion and muscle kinetics through to hand-eye coordination testing and agility measurement. The facility also has its own 68-foot long running track with high definition cameras installed, to monitor and analyze what the company calls “whole body motion.”

The cameras, which nanoM had specifically designed for its Dubai base, can provide an in-depth 3D assessment of this body motion and in doing so, according to the company, this technology can help to pinpoint existing or potential problems.

Lampard, who was capped over 106 times for the English national soccer team said in a video at the launch: “As a player, your responsibility isn’t just training day-to-day, it’s to try and work around your specific training to make sure you prevent injuries and for that you need the facilities and the expertise.”
