Garmin announced Wednesday the launch of a smartwatch specifically for triathletes, the Forerunner 935, that includes training features, performance monitoring and heart rate monitoring.
The new training features allow athletes to monitor his or her performance by analyzing previous workouts and fitness levels to give insight into how they can better prepare for a race. The watch also enables runners to key in on the running portion of the triathlon by giving data on cadence, ground contact time and stride length. For the biking section, the Forerunner 935 gives athletes insights into how much time they spend seated and how much time they spend standing. In swimming, the watch will track pace, stroke and personal records.

In order to switch from one sport to another, he or she simply presses a button.
The watch also includes features for hiking, trail running, skiing, paddle sports and golf. The watch is available for $499.99.
