- Go4it joined the investment rounds led by funds like Accomplice, Elysian Park Ventures, Iconica Partners and Courtside Ventures, known for their investments in sport, media and technology.
- The investments strengthen Go4it’s portfolio, which earlier this year invested in goFlow, an app for outdoor sports enthusiasts, and partnered with Roger Federer in the in the creation of the Laver Cup tennis competition.
Go4it Sports, Tech & Experience, founded by Cesar Villares and Marc Lemann, has invested in TAPPP and Greenfly, two promising companies in the digital segment. These investments reinforce the company’s global portfolio, which earlier this year announced a participation in the new Laver Cup competition which will take place in Prague 2017, and in the collaborative outdoor sports app, goFlow.
TAPPP (www.tappp.com) is an open distribution platform for streaming services that is changing how people consume premium digital content, by simplifying payments including cash. Access to a large range of sports content and entertainment is offered in partnership with multiple e-commerce platforms and sold through offline retail channels. The platform is already present in Asian and pacific markets, and a launch in Brazil is planned in the coming months.
Greenfly (www.greenfly.com) is a technology platform that enables companies to leverage their relationship networks to reach new audiences and drive new levels of engagement. The Greenfly system integrates a mobile app with a private, web-based content production and orchestration system. The company was one of five selected by the LA Dodgers Accelerator, run in partnership with R/GA Ventures. Go4it joined the investment round led by Iconica Partners, which has over 25 years of experience investing in sports, technology and media.
“Through our relationships, we are constantly seeking and evaluating investment opportunities in the sports tech segment and in other sports assets,” said Cesar Villares, co-founder of Go4it.
