1. What is your elevator pitch?

ShotTracker brings elite level analytics to basketball teams at every level of the game. We have two products. Our first product, the original ShotTracker, captures shooting stats for an individual practicing alone. Our second product, ShotTracker TEAM, automatically captures real-time stats for an entire team of players during team practice and games. This includes multiple players, multiple balls and multiple hoops.

2. Problem & Solution

The problem is that it’s very laborious for basketball players and teams to capture their stats, but it’s critical to do so to be competitive. Traditionally, tracking a team’s stats requires additional people and time to observe the players, record their actions, tabulate their stats and analyze the data for insight. There is not another system that does this in real-time, let alone affordably.

3. Market – your target market and the overall market

Our target market is competitive basketball programs, ranging from high school to the NBA, and the facilities where they play.

4. Business Model – how do you make money?

Our revenue comes from the selling the system’s hardware, annual subscriptions for the data, and value-added services.
