On the opposing side, the Carolina Panthers have tended to mix humor with focus on social media, and now it’s the Bronco’s turn to be put under the spotlight. Whilst the Panthers continue to opt for the symbolic #KeepPounding as their hashtag of choice, the Broncos have stepped it up, endlessly adding #BeatThePanthers to their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram captions. They are certainly not lacking confidence.

It is this very confidence that seems to be the underlying tone in their social media interaction. Scrolling through posts, every single face shown is an example of determination and assurance. However, above this, there is an air of relaxation being portrayed by the Broncos’ camp amidst the usual chaos. Emmanuel Sanders is just one of the players pictured in a state of complete calm.

And if  you were wondering if there was ever any worry of the team being overshadowed by 39 year old Peyton Manning’s looming career decision, it hasn’t shown. It would perhaps seem logical to take the focus off Manning, but instead, he features heavily on all fronts with interviews, quotes and even a press conference featuring Snoop Dogg.

Whilst their fans will continue to be racked with nerves right up until Sunday, the Broncos seem to be doing a stellar job of promising them that they are ready for the fight. In many ways both the Panthers and Broncos have embraced social media with similar strategies, flooding the usual platforms to get to their millions of fans. But unlike the Panthers, the Broncos haven’t even touched YouTube. They will certainly be hoping that, in this instance, less equals more.
