How To Stream NBC’s Coverage Of Super Bowl LII For Free

NBC will broadcast Super Bowl LII between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 4, and viewers looking to stream the action happening in Minneapolis can do so for free.

NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app, and NBC.com will stream the game during “Super Stream Sunday,” with users not being prompted to log in with cable/satellite/telco credentials.

The NBC Sports app is available on Apple iOS, Android and select Samsung devices, as well as on Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Win10, and Xbox.

Super Bowl LII will also be available to stream on mobile phones through the NFL and Yahoo Sports mobile apps, with the league having announced a deal with Verizon last month.

“Not only is Super Bowl Sunday the biggest day in television, but it’s also become one of the most-streamed days of the year,” Rick Cordella, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Digital Media, NBC Sports Group, said in a statement. “As a result, we’re excited to take this opportunity to provide special one-day-only access to consumers, many of whom will be introduced to NBCUniversal’s and NBC Sports Group’s best-in-class streaming environment for the first time.”

NBC’s unauthenticated stream includes 11 continuous hours of content starting with pre-game coverage at noon ET and concluding with the network’s post-game presentation of the hit television series This Is Us.

NBC was the first to livestream a Super Bowl in the U.S. when it did so to desktops and tablets for coverage of Super Bowl XLVI in 2012.
