We are happy to share with you the Sports Performance and Tech magazine. It is a new online magazine that has some of the same goals as our platform: Spread ideas around high performance, analytics and the technological breakthroughs within elite sport.

The Sports Performance and Tech magazine published their first four Issues in 2013 and they were kind enough to share their first Issue of 2014, Issue 5, with us so that we could share it with you. Issue 5 looks ahead twelve months into the sports tech crystal ball and dives into a number of topics that are impacting elite athletes and the sports industry around the globe.

Issue 5 contains eight great sports tech articles but if you can’t read them all then be sure to check out Damien Saunders’ Diorama of Player Movement in Sport article as he presents a fascinating new method to visualize player movement in tennis by creating a three-dimensional way to view and analyze player data. Also, perhaps the most intriguing article included in this Issue is Sam Strickling’s Watch Sports, Teach Engineering article where he provides a fresh solution for the U.S. STEM education issues by combining education and sports.

Going forward we will be providing future Issues of Sports Performance and Tech and even contributing content of our own to the magazine! So stay tuned and let us know what you think about Issue 5 below (click to enlarge).
