The LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer have become the first ever soccer team to partner with DeskSite, a video app that features a plethora of hi-definition video content for free. The Galaxy joins a host of NFL teams and the Columbus Blue Jackets in adopting the program.

DeskSite promotes themselves as “your DVR for the Internet.” This essentially means that their downloadable platform uploads videos automatically into your computer.

So, Galaxy fans will now have a more user-friendly way of accessing post-game press conferences, player interviews, highlights and other video content.

“Our partnership with DeskSite allows us to continue to enhance the fan experience by delivering exciting, high-definition content to our fans in a seamless and user-friendly way,” said President of the LA Galaxy Chris Klein.

The Galaxy DeskSite’s appeal rests in the ease with which users can access the content. Thus, there is no need to constantly check YouTube for the latest game preview or video contest. Additionally, users could have a library full of videos in any situation, without the need for Internet access.

The only downsides is that the downloaded program is solely exclusive to the Galaxy, and all other teams affiliated with DeskSite must be reached by downloading separate platforms. But, it is specifically ideal for any super fan of the Galaxy, and it obviously free. You can download the Galaxy DeskSite for Windows or Mac here.
