1. What is your elevator pitch?

NBN23 is a passionate team that generates value transforming Big Data into Smart Data for sports, especially in Basketball where we have a great access to the market thanks to all the stars we have in our organization.

We have an environment of products to collect, process and show the athletes’ performance in a way that help amateur teams bringing new revenues, and professional teams winning games, by exploding the potential of highly relevant data.

This includes the most advance system of real time tracking and a very advanced and sophisticated software solution for federations.

We are already working with top European teams and Federations such as Real Madrid and we are expanding to the US in Q1 2017 after having shown our system to top NBA and NCAA teams.

Our goal is to change the use of the data to improve the basketball experience in a 360º way

2. Problem & Solution

In the world of sports, a huge amount of data is generated event after event. Generally, this data is not treated and analyzed in the smartest and most constructive way.

Also in the nonprofessional organizations, there is a big lack of resources in order to digitalize, classify and analyze the data, whereas in the professional teams, the actual level of competitiveness is growing by the year, so every inch you can improve makes a very big impact and drives the difference between winning or losing.

NBN23 has a very advanced environment of products to collect, process and show the data in order to help generate new revenues as well as providing the right and precise information in real time to help teams win games.

3. Market – your target market and the overall market

At NBN23 we generate a lot of different data. We divide our target market in 3 depending of the type of information generated.

  • Basketball Organizations (General Managers, Sport Science, Coaches, Trainers… )
  • Broadcasters (TV, ISPs, Radio….)
  • Sponsors (Local and Global Brands)

Short term we are focused in basketball worldwide and in the mid-term we are aiming to apply our technology to all different team and individual sports.

4. Business Model – how do you make money?

We generate money charging for the services provide. We make long term agreements with organizations and clubs, and we ask for a monthly fee. This fee depends on the size and amount of revenues we generate to our customers, and it´s always less than what we help them generate or save.

Since we generate a marketplace for athletes and fans we do also monetize part of the traffic generated with our open platforms.

6. What else do you want the audience to know about your venture?

We have many ex professional players in our team from NBA, WNBA, NCAA and most relevant teams in Europe. This gives us a great knowledge of the market, the needs and of course very good penetration into the market.

Our leitmotivs are teamwork, passion and excellence
