New York Giants’ Odell Beckham Jr. Messes Around With Snapchat Spectacles, Dallas Cowboys

Athletes around the world have been wearing the new Snapchat Spectacles to give fans a view into their unique lives. At a Pro Bowl practice in Orlando, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. joined that group. And he did not disappoint his viewers.

During a practice, EA Sports let Beckham sport the company’s spectacles while interacting with his NFC coaches and teammates. Even though the glasses can only capture moments in 10 seconds or less, there was still plenty of interesting footage.

One funny clip featured Beckham lining up out wide across from Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson in a “LSU vs. LSU” matchup. One former Tiger was not shy about letting the other one know who the “greatest” is.

“You Snapping this?” Peterson asks as Beckham adjusts his Spectacles.

The most entertaining part of Beckham’s Snapchat adventure might have been his interaction with some of the Dallas Cowboys. Although rivals during the season, he had no problem approaching Dez Bryant and Dak Prescott, who acknowledged the Spectacles. Maybe they’re even friends now? Or at least for this practice.

Also, Beckham couldn’t sign off before joking with Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett about what team he might like to see him play for. Then it was back to the field. But he may need to hear that play call from Drew Brees one more time.
