With the NFL preseason underway, fans from anywhere in the world can now access the league’s new video service, NFL Now, and keep up to date with their favorite team. NFL Now is the new personalized on-demand internet-video service available across iOS, Android, Windows on mobile, Amazon Kindle Fire and through the web, which offers customizable video content for the modern NFL fan.
Fans can personalize their subscription with news about their favorite team and players, and have the ability to watch exclusive locker room interviews, practice updates and highlights as well as original content.
Brian Matthews, Senior VP of Sales for the NFL, spoke with Cynopsis Sports about the large amounts of content being offered to fans.
“NFL Now will give users extensive highlights and original NFL content. All 32 teams will be providing content so there’s about 4800 minutes per week of club content.”
A basic version is available free of charge but fans will also have the option of choosing NFL Now Premium for $1.99 a month. The premium service offers instant in-game highlights and the ability to access the archival vault of NFL Films.
While NFL Now will offer a plethora of NFL video content, the service will not include live broadcasts of games and fans will not have access to NFL Sunday Ticket.
