Social mapping app Paranoid Fan announced on Thursday the launch of its new emoji map for Super Bowl LII at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis in the week leading up to the big game to mobilize fans around the venue.
Paranoid Fan’s mapping technology brings emojis and live video to maps so that fans can navigate venues and locate watch parties within the city. Virtual treasure chest emojis placed around the city contain prizes so that New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles fans can find their way around the Super Bowl.
Last week, fans at the AFC Championship Game between the Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars around Gillette Stadium got to experience this.
Paranoid Fan has received seed funding from Techstars and ZX Ventures, the venture capital arm of AB InBev that provided $1.6 million last year.
Paranoid Fan maps can be found at ParanoidFan.com and in the Apple App and Google Play stores.
