Paris Saint-Germain considered every aspect of the fan experience in its new Stadium App. It is a one-stop shop for everything a fan would need inside Parc des Princes, and for the first time, a club will offer slow-motion replays with multiple angles.
The app offers live pre-game and game coverage, all produced by the Paris Saint-Germain team starting an hour before each match. The on-demand slow-motion replay has options for users to choose which viewing angle they want to see footage from. It also provides access to real-time game information and allows users to follow several events for a second-sceen experience.
For fans that are attending games, they are able to use the app for all ticket services in a customer account that is linked to the app. An augmented reality feature in the app’s map service allows for fans to view the stadium in 3D for easier navigation.
“Stadium App is yet another example of our desire to expand the Club’s digital development,” Frédéric Longuépée, Executive Vice President Business Operations of Paris Saint-Germain, said in a statement. “It meets the expectations of our fans, and especially millennials, who consume football differently. The app gives them another reason to come to the stadium and lets us make the most of the newly connected Parc des Princes.”

The app also can be used to book transportation to and from events. It offers customized trip details based on a user’s preferred method of transportation. It provides fans with directions from home to their seat at the stadium. A taxi booking service is also included and special, lower rates apply.
Lastly, the program has an entertainment feature that includes Facebook, Twitter and Instagram posts from Paris Saint-Germain and players and tool for sharing and reacting to social media. The “fotofan” tab allows for customized selfies that add Snapchat-like filters.
PMU Gaming, an official club partner, gives fans the opportunity to make game predictions and enter competitions to win VIP tickets, dinners and signed jerseys.
