Revele specializes in making functional and comfortable sports products for female athletes who participate in contact sports. Revele, based in Paris, recently came out with the Revelia – an armor for contact sports that is worn over the upper body to protect the bust and shoulders.
The Revelia will be made available after it met its first Indiegogo crowdfunding goal.
“We have developed the first bust protection, specifically designed for the female morphology, and practice of contact sports,” Revele co-founder Laetitia Pingel said in a promotional video.
The armor looks like like a motorcycle vest and features XRD Shock absorption technology – a foamy material that protects the zones hit in contact sports.

Revele was founded when Pingel and her co-founder and friend, Clemence Fabre, found themselves being forced to shop in the children’s section for their rugby gear. The children’s padding didn’t fit the women properly and they found that there was no sporting goods company making protective gear specifically for women.
Revele is the first brand of equipment and protection that is designed specifically for female athletes who play contact sports.
