ROX is the first member of the International Olympic Committee’s Olympic Museums Network to be located in North America and has now added a highly interactive and dynamic visitor experience with sporting simulations and displays through D-BOX.

With the D-BOX systems ROX will aim to provide a unique life-like experience for visitors. The motion of the winter sports is perfectly synchronized with the on-screen action to provide a realistic immersive experience all from the comfort of the facility.

Claude Mc Master, President and Chief Executive Officer of D-BOX, says, “We are very pleased to be part of the Richmond Olympic Experience, this further strengthens our position of world leader in highly immersive, accurate and realistic motion solutions. The entertainment and training simulation market are craving for these types of embodied experiences. We are especially proud of this 100% Canadian made initiative and the visibility provided by our partnership with the first member of the International Olympic Committee’s Olympic Museums Network to be located in North America.”

The 100% Canadian initiative was successful due to the Canadian Athletes and a team of dedicated video editing, engineers, and technical crew. This type of technology will soon be a hot trend for the sports entertainment market as the on-screen action plus genuine movements can be applied to any sport.
