Junior Rogue, a mentorship program developed by esports organization Team Rogue and non-profit Find Your Grind, announced registration for its second semester is now open. Applications for the esports program are due on Feb. 4, and the semester begins Mar. 4.
The Find Your Grind Junior Rogue Program is open to U.S. residents aged 17 and under who are aiming to pursue a career in esports, with an emphasis on the Fortnite video game. Applicants selected for the program will receive mentorship from Rogue’s professional Fortnite team, a $500 scholarship, and access to industry experts from a wide variety of backgrounds.
“We’re extremely proud of our first semester Junior Rogue graduates and the progress they made through the mentorship of the Junior Rogue program,” said Nick Gross, founder of Find Your Grind, in a press release. “Now we’re on the hunt for new amateur players to join Junior Rogue and pursue their passion for gaming and Fortnite.”
The first semester of the mentorship program began last October and resulted in two amateur graduates immediately signing with professional esports organizations, according to Rogue’s press release. While in the program, several players were given the opportunity to compete in major Fortnite events such as Fall Skirmish and Winter Royale.

ReKT Global, the parent company of Team Rogue esports, announced a $10.8 million Series A investment earlier this month. With that new funding, Gross said he aims to bring the Junior Rogue mentorship program to Europe. Colleges and high schools across the U.S. are increasingly launching their own esports teams, so specialized mentorship programs are a logical addition to the junior esports landscape.
