Company: LSee
CEO: Cyril Torre
Headquarters: Ajaccio, France
1. What is your elevator pitch?
LSee is the first metabolic tracker that allows people to get the best combination of food and activity to burn body fat according to their metabolism. LSee analyses a single drop of your blood to optimize your weight loss and achieve your goals.
2. Problem & Solution
Overweight is a concern for 2Bn people in the world and despite the numerous solutions for weight loss (diets, activity trackers, fitness centers…), only a few reach their goals.
This failure is mainly due to inadequate solutions that do not take into account a person’s unique genetic and metabolic condition.
At LSee we are convinced that it is necessary to understand how your body reacts when you eat or when you practice sports. After many years of R&D in labs, LSee has come up with its metabolic tracker to help people find their own way to burn body fat with a single drop of blood. We avoid unnecessary privations and useless efforts. We provide personalized and real time feedback on the best-suited food and sport for your metabolism.
3. Market – your target market and the overall market
Over 2Bn people are overweight, spending $6Bn (North America + EU) on inefficient diets and workout programs (WeightWatchers, LesMills) that ignore the huge genetic and metabolic diversity among people, and on tracking devices or scales (FitBit, Withings) that do not measure fat burn productivity of nutrition or physical exercise.
Our target market includes sports amateurs, athletes and overweight go-getter.
LSee has come up with a disruptive solution for losing weight, so any consumer can adapt his efforts in real time to his metabolism, and eliminate useless privation.

Bonus Question: If you were to invite any CEO to dinner who would it be and why?
It will be Stewart Butterfield, the CEO of Slack and previous co-founder of Flickr.
In just 2 years, Slack rapid adoption makes it one of the fastest-growing business software applications in the world. It is revolutionizing the way people communicate in business. We think it should be interesting to talk with him about the evolution of communication in today’s society.
