1. What is your elevator pitch?

Pico.Buzz is an in-stadium fan engagement and CRM platform. Our main mission is to increase team revenue through direct, real-time engagement with its fans. We could take 5% of the fans that are currently inside the stadium and sell them more products (tickets, merchandise, etc.). This mission is being achieved successfully with no need for any mobile app to be downloaded or any deep integration from the fans nor the team.

2. Problem & Solution

Pico.Buzz is focused on two big problems that sports teams (and brands in general) suffer from:

1) Social Waste

During a match, there could be 20,000 fans inside the stadium who post great content about the team on social networks. This could be photos on Instagram, Tweets, etc. Most of this content is not tagged, so the team’s brand is not connected to it. From a social engagement and branding perspective, that’s a huge problem since viral and natural engagement is one of the team’s goals in their social promotion strategy – and it’s a hard goal to achieve.

2) Meet the Fan

More than 20,000 fans could be inside the stadium, but the team knows almost nothing about them.

Pico.Buzz solves these two problems simultaneously using a few combined systems which rely on each other to provide a powerful tool. 3. Market – your target market and the overall market

At the moment, we are focusing on the sports industry because the crowd is emotionally involved in this market. These fans are generating great content about their favorite team, and we help the team to use and leverage this valuable content for their own good. So far our clients include soccer, basketball, baseball teams and sports events production companions from all around the world.

4. Business Model – how do you make money?

We are B2B startup with a mixed distribution strategy, which includes:

  • Direct sell to the teams.
  • Partnership with the league’s managements.
  • Partnership with ads agencies that could sell Pico.Buzz as a new sponsorship channel to their clients.
  • Partnership with media agencies who hold budgets of clients in our industry.
