University of Oklahoma Athletics has announced that live and on-demand content is now available through both Apple TV and Roku devices, making the athletic department the only one in the Power 5 conferences in the country to offer this.
The SoonerSports.tv content includes for subscribers the streaming of games, as the OU women’s basketball game against Arkansas-Little Rock on Wednesday was made available on the SoonerSports2Go apps on Apple TV and Roku.

“At Oklahoma, we take pride in being a trendsetter, and the launch of our Apple TV and Roku apps in another example of just that,” athletic director Joe Castiglione said in a statement. “We are excited about the opportunity to distribute our extraordinary video content to new and broader audiences through these platforms, and we are grateful to our partners FOX Sports and NeuLion for helping us once again to be a leader with this endeavor.”

To access this new offer, a user must have an active SoonerSports.tv subscription. The SoonerSports.tv Apple TV app us available on Generation 4 devices.
To find it, search “Sooners” in the app store. In order to watch SoonerSport.tv content of older Apple TV devices, fans can use AirPlay to stream.
In addition to this streaming platform, Castiglione said that OU is working with FOX Sports and NeuLion to find more distribution options.
