Kelsey Plum, the former Washington Husky, probably went on a roller coaster ride of emotions as she was picked No. 1 overall to the San Antonio Stars in the WNBA Draft on Thursday. But she also went on a more literal roller coaster ride.
The WNBA draft was held at Samsung 837 in New York, which is known to be a tech hub. Its features include a 4D virtual reality theater that offers a selection of 4D VR rollercoaster rides. Plum got a seat on it.

After strapping on the VR Goggles, Plum and the other riders could ride a roller coaster through virtual outer space or one that includes trying to tame a dragon. The roller coaster can take riders on a 263-feet elevation change and it can feel like you are going 62 miles per hour. To complete the 4D experience, the theater seats actually shift and shake as the roller coaster cars move on the track.
The ride is part of the Samsung 837 experiential playground which includes a VR Tunnel, kitchen, gallery, playroom and more. Samsung 837 teamed up with Six Flags Entertainment to make the rollercoaster come to life.
