Yet the eagle-eyed among you may have noticed that there are 28 answers and – if we rememberSesame Street correctly – the alphabet has 26 letters.That’s because two letters have joint highest scorers: ‘O’ with 11 goals and ‘U’ with a rather fiendish two. Tricky, although we’d hope that ‘M’ and ‘R’ don’t hold you up much, given that nobody can match these players boasting 100+ goals.As a bonus clue, we’ve given you the nationality of each player, as well as their Champions League goal total.
