Andy Murray returned to The O2 on Saturday to practise with Dominic Thiem for two hours ahead of the Nitto ATP Finals, which begins Sunday. The former World No. 1 and last year’s champion at the season finale was joined by coach Jamie Delgado and fitness trainer Matt Little.
Murray, who captured the season finale crown last year, has not played a tour-level match since losing to Sam Querrey in the Wimbledon quarter-finals on 12 July.
The 30-year-old Scot is expecting to return to the ATP World Tour at the start of the 2018 season. He ended his 2017 campaign, due to a hip injury, with a 25-10 match record.
