First-Time Pairing Wins Lyon Doubles Crown

Argentine Andres Molteni and Canadian Adil Shamasdin might have to give this another try. Playing together for the first time this week, the unseeded pairing captured the Open Parc Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Lyon doubles title, prevailing against New Zealand's Marcus Daniell and Brazilian Marcelo Demoliner 6-3, 3-6, 10-5 on Saturday. Molteni/Shamasdin won 82 per cent of their first-serve points and jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the Match Tie-break before clinching the title after 82 minutes. "I think we have good energy together.
