World No. 2 Andy Murray won an all-British clash with Kyle Edmund on Friday to reach the semi-finals of the China Open in Beijing. The top seed overcame stiff resistance from #NextGen star Edmund in the first set before claiming a 7-6(9), 6-2 victory. “He made it very tough for me. He’s improving at a solid pace now. The 2014 semifinalist (l. to Djokovic) won 81 per cent of first-serve points and broke his opponent seven times during the 76-minute encounter.
