A LOOK BACK China International Suzhou (Suzhou, China): It has been a banner year for junior stars making the transition to the ATP Challenger Tour. In June, Felix Auger-Aliassime won his first title in Lyon, France. In July, it was Nicola Kuhn's turn in Braunschweig, Germany and in September, Wu Yibing lifted the trophy in Shanghai. On Sunday, former junior No. 1 Miomir Kecmanovic earned his maiden title in Suzhou, China, defeating Radu Albot 6-4, 6-4. Teenager Moutet Continues Thriving In French Challengers

Some players feel pressure competing in front of a local crowd, but French teenager Corentin Moutet is continuing to thrive on home soil. The 17 year old reached his first ATP Challenger Tour semi-final this week at the $50,000 event in St. Brieuc, France. Moutet took full advantage of his wild card, upsetting third seed Norbert Gombos of Slovakia in the opening round on his way to the final four, where he fell in three sets to qualifier Egor Gerasimov of Belarus. “This is the best result of my career. Moutet Announces Arrival In Cherbourg

After enjoying plenty of junior success, French teenager Corentin Moutet is ready to show off his rapidly improving game at the pro level. Competing at this week’s $50,000 ATP Challenger Tour event in Cherbourg, France, the 17 year old came through qualifying to reach his first Challenger quarter-final. Moutet defeated Jeremy Jahn of Germany in the opening round and then scored the biggest win of his young career over Canadian Steven Diez, currently No. 173 in the Emirates ATP Rankings.
