Wawrinka Takes To The Skies In Dubai

World No. 3 Stan Wawrinka took to the skies ahead of his bid to retain the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships crown.

The Swiss star took a private flight in a Skydive Dubai gyrocopter for a flight over the Burj Al Arab, Palm Jumeriah and Dubai Marina before making his way back to Skydive Dubai.

“It was really great fun, I really enjoyed it,” said Wawrinka. “It’s nice to fly in a small plane and see things from above. Dubai is a great tournament. Last year it was a great week for me to win the trophy. I’m really happy to be back.”

The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
