In race to promote diversity and inclusion, Acumatica sponsors women-led IndyCar team

Acumatica is hitting the gas on its marketing initiatives. The Kirkland, Wash.-based maker of cloud-based enterprise resource planning software is the primary sponsor of an IndyCar run by Paretta Autosport, the company and the team announced Tuesday. Paretta Autosport is the only woman-owned, woman-driven and woman-forward team competing in the NTT INDYCAR Series, and will race this weekend at the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix in Nashville, Tenn. Amazon provides key tools in the cloud for designing Formula 1’s race car of the future

Amazon’s interest in sports has taken the tech giant from NFL stadiums to NHL hockey arenas and now onto the racetracks of Formula 1 as Amazon Web Services has played a key role in the design of new F1 race cars.
