Marshawn Lynch calling: Wireless carrier partners with NFL star to launch ‘Beast Mobile’ cell plan

Marshawn Lynch may no longer be a Seahawk, but that’s not stopping a Seattle-area wireless carrier from teaming with the NFL star for a new phone service called Beast Mobile. A hero in Seattle sports history thanks to his six years as a running back for the Seahawks, the partnership is just the latest business venture built around Lynch’s Beast Mode persona. Video: Marshawn Lynch drives Amazon Treasure Truck, autographs bags of Skittles and Beast Mode Amazon Echo devices

Ex-Seahawks star running back Marshawn Lynch was at CenturyLink Field in Seattle today, but this time he was there to drive Amazon’s Treasure Truck and hand out Beast Mode-skinned Amazon Echo devices and Beast Mode hats. That was the surprise promotion from Amazon’s Treasure Truck, the Seattle-based company’s rolling “deals on wheels” that periodically hits the streets of Seattle. Marshawn was clearly enjoying himself, sticking around until every customer got an autograph this afternoon.
