At least it was Thursday night at the seventh GeekWire Bash, the annual extravaganza that turns the CenturyLink Field Events Center into a roaming geek carnival. Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka to host ping pong tournament to benefit charity for homeless

Seattle Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka, who is widely considered the best ping pong player in the team’s locker room, will host a tournament on Monday where the benefit will go beyond bragging rights. The second-annual event serves as a fundraiser for Mary’s Place and the No Child Sleeps Outside campaign. The tournament, to raise funds for the organization which advocates for homeless women, children and families, will take place at the CenturyLink Field West Club Lounge from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday.
