TINYpulse beat Convoy, the startup that develops technology to match truck drivers with shippers, 10-9 at Queen Anne Playfield on Aug. 1. Bizible beats Snap! Raise to capture crown in third season of Seattle’s IT Sports League softball

Bizible meant business in the third season of Seattle’s IT Sports League. The Seattle startup, which helps marketers manage and plan for revenue, bested eight other teams during the 10-week season and took home the championship at Queen Anne Playfield last week with a 14-2 win over Snap! Raise, makers of a fundraising platform for teams and groups. Bizible’s team, with an 8-2 record, was managed by partner manager Kendall Kossler and VP of product and strategy Brewster Stanislaw. Whitepages beats SimplyMeasured in IT Sports League’s softball championship game

The most dominant team of geeks in the second season of IT Sports League softball proved to be Whitepages as they took the title last week from defending champs SimplyMeasured. The Whitepages Wombats, captained by revenue accounting manager Erin Schindler, beat SimplyMeasured 15-8 at Seattle’s Queen Anne Field and finished the season with a 9-1 record. Whitepages reached the championship game by beating a team from Quantum, 24-12. SimplyMeasured, which took the title last summer, finished with two losses this year. Seattle tech teams assembling for second year of softball in co-ed IT Sports League

Tech geeks turned jocks are teaming up for the second season of co-ed softball in the IT Sports League. Organizer Steve Mayeda said league popularity has taken off, and after having four teams compete in the inaugural season, he already has sign-ups and interest from several companies in the Seattle area, including WhitePages, TINYPulse/Avvo, WTIA, SimplyMeasured, DomainTools and Quantum. Simply Measured, the Seattle-based social analytics company, beat TINYPulse/Avvo 15-9 in the championship game last summer.
