The premium YouTube TV video service has struck a multi-year deal with Seattle Sounders FC to become the exclusive live streaming provider for the soccer club starting this year. The deal makes Sounders FC the only MLS club to offer a streaming option in combination with traditional over-the-air broadcast games. The Seattle Sounders on Wednesday announced a new deal with SeatGeek, a New York-based startup that offers a unique “open ticketing platform” and a focus on mobile apps. SeatGeek will become the official ticketing partner of the Sounders starting in 2018. It marks the end of a nine-year partnership with industry incumbent Ticketmaster. For the third year in a row, Seattle Sounders jerseys will feature a video game. Seattle’s MLS club will don new kits for Sunday’s home match against Los Angeles that promote Forza Motorsport 7, a new Microsoft game that debuts October 7 for Xbox One and PC.
