The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers will show off their brand of “multiplayer entertainment” in a “Thursday Night Football” clash tonight. Amazon’s Twitch will live stream NBA G League games; viewers can access stats and win loyalty points

In what could be a preview of what watching sports online might be like in the future, the NBA today announced a live streaming deal with Twitch. Competitive gaming will overtake mainstream sports ‘in a few years,’ says Momentum CEO

The popularity of competitive gaming — also known as eSports — continues to rise, and some predict that it may surpass traditional sports within the next few years.
