Uber inks deal with AEG to become ‘official’ ride-hailing provider at 27 venues around the world

Uber today announced a partnership with AEG, one of the top global sports and live entertainment companies. The ride-hailing giant will now be an “official” transportation partner at 27 of AEG’s properties, including The O2 in London, and the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The deal allows Uber to establish designated pickup and dropoff points at each venue. It will also offer “in-venue perks” for fans and other “exclusive promotions.” The company will receive digital and traditional in-venue signage as part of the deal. UberTailgate: Uber teams up with Miami Dolphins to help NFL fans party before games for $250

Uber is not only getting people to and from football games in Miami, but the ride-hailing company also wants to help fans tailgate, too. Uber today announced a new partnership with the NFL’s Miami Dolphins. As the company has done in the past, Uber will set up a dedicated pickup/dropoff zone for riders at the nearly-renovated Hard Rock Stadium starting with this Thursday’s preseason game against Tennessee.
