American Airlines Center, Seattle Mariners Use FanConnect For New On-Screen Experiences

The American Airlines Center, home to the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars, has chosen FanConnect to give fans new experiences through different suite television screens throughout the arena.

FanConnected will provide content on more than 100 screens, combining the live game feed with promotional and game-related content including scores of other games around the league, league standings, weather and traffic.

“We are excited to partner with American Airlines Center and showcase our platform,” FanConnect CEO Larry Witherspoon said in a statement. “As a tope five venue, American Airlines Center is a great example of a premier arena leveraging FanConnect to enhance the fan experience and drive additional revenue.”

FanConnect gives a variety of different software and technology platforms and is already used at more than 50 college and professional stadiums.

One of those stadiums is Safeco Field, home to the Seattle Mariners. In November, the Mariners renewed their agreement with FanConnect, which integrated the Mariner’s live game feed with player stats, game information, social media and partner marketing for fans around the venue using their existing television displays.

“FanConnect allows us to reach our fans on the hundreds of TV monitors throughout Safeco Field,” Dave Curry, Mariners Vice President of Information Services said in a statement. “We can target messages to them at points of sale on the concourses at ticket windows, or within special event areas for group outings. It’s a great way for us to communicate directly with our fans.”

Andrew Silverman, American Airlines Center’s Chief Revenue Officer, has a similar outlook to their agreement with FanConnect saying, “FanConnect will enhance the overall suite experience while creating  customizable platform for our corporate partners to reach their target audience.”
