1. What is your elevator pitch?

Tech’4’Team is the French leader in yield management for companies in the entertainment business. Arenametrix is the first SaaS platform which enables entertainment organizers as festivals, museums, theaters, sports franchises, tourist attractions…to increase their income and their attendance thanks to predictive models and real-time recommendations.

2. Problem & Solution

We noticed several ticketing market trends:

  • The producers and siteholders have a limited exploitation of their data
  • There is a lack of experience from producers and siteholders.
  • It is difficult  to face the ticketing distributors and the Web players  that collect and process data, without any feedback. Well-adapted Big Data tools for entertainment do not exist yet.

That is why we decided to develop our software, Arenametrix. Arenametrix is a software solution made of two add-on modules:

  • Arenapublics: an intelligent CRM
  • Arenapricing:  Yield management and sales monitoring tools

Arenametrix is a SaaS software connected in real time with all the ticketing softwares of the market.  It allows organizers to:

  • visualize their customer database content
  • make statistical and predictive analysis
  • make decision about the dynamic pricing strategy

Our database comes from different sources:

  • Sales data recovered from ticketing softwares such as Digitick or Secutix.
  • Enhanced data known with correlation tables such as name/ male or female/age or standard of living/ median income / aera
  • Exogenous data such as the weather

Furthermore, the tool gives a recommendation about commercialization and pricing strategies to adopt.

Thanks to Arenametrix, organizers will be able to improve their public loyalty, win new customers and thus, potentially increase by 20% their ticketing revenue.

These ticketing solutions ensure an income growth and a fill rate optimization for each event. Besides, they improve the customer’s satisfaction.

Arenametrix is the solution that enables organizers to offer tickets to the right person, at the right moment, with the right distribution channel, at the right price.Logo - Tech'4'Team

3. Market – your target market and the overall market

Tech’4’Team targets a BtoB market that includes many sectors :

The ticketing market is estimated at 4 Billions € in France and at 26 Billions € in Europe.

4. Business Model – how do you make money?

Our software works with a monthly-licence. The price varies depending on the number of sold ticket per year. Additionally, we propose three versions : standard, pro, expert. The price varies depending on the chosen functionalities.

5. Management Team

Kevin Vitoz : CEO Cofounder , chairman

Ludovic Bordes :  CEO, Cofounder, General Director

Aurélien Artaud : Develop manager

Florent Marmol :  Lead Data Scientist

6. What else do you want the audience to know about your venture?

Our positioning between a Big Data cabinet, a ticketing expert and a software publisher is a true strength. We want to democratize the access to entertainment activities thanks to dynamic pricing. Our statistical algorithm for optimizing ticketing pricing is our innovation that does not yet exist in Europe.

Bonus Questions:

If you were to invite any CEO to dinner who would it be and why?

Unfortunately, the CEO I would love to meet passed away a few years ago: Steve Jobs.

It might sounds obvoius but I really mean it. Jobs is a very inspiring guy and I respect him for what he’s done for Apple; Creating a need that didn’t exist and that’s what we’re trying to do with Tech4Team.

Besides Steve Jobs, I would like to meet Under Armor CEO’s Kevin Plank. UA is now the biggest competitor Nike has to deal with in the US and it would be really interesting to talk about the strategy he chose to implement in order to do so.

If you could go to any sporting event, what would it be and why?

That’s a really tough question but if I really had to choose only one sporting event I think I would get a ticket to Kobe Bryant’s last game in LA. This player is an example for what he’s accomplished over the years and this game will be part of the history of the NBA. As a Lakers and a Kobe fan the Staples Center will be THE place to be on April 13.
