As most occasions have been this year for Roger Federer, this birthday must also feel a little sweeter. The Swiss great turns 36 today, 8 August 2017, and some say his game has never been better. He enters the Coupe Rogers in Montreal with a tour-leading 31-2 record and has won five tour-level titles this season, including two Grand Slam crowns – Australian Open and Wimbledon – and two ATP World Tour Masters 1000 titles – BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells and the Miami Open presented by Itau. Del Potro Ends Isner's Match-Win Streak

Juan Martin del Potro needed two breaks of serve, and that's exactly what he made happen against John Isner at the Coupe Rogers in Montreal on Monday. The Argentine broke at 5-5 in both sets and overcame 24 aces from the 14th-seeded American to advance 7-5, 7-5 at the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament in Canada. Nadal, Thiem Rise Above At Olympic Stadium

Rafael Nadal and Dominic Thiem are taking their tennis to new heights in Montreal. The No. 1 and No. 3 seeds took to the rooftop of Montreal Tower on Monday to hit on a temporary Coupe Rogers mini-court. Good thing neither player was scared of heights.
