Forces golf charity On Course Foundation was celebrating a late Christmas present yesterday as American Golf handed over a cheque for £20,000, raised by its customers over the festive period. Kent tour professional Alfie Plant has signed a contract with Srixon and Cleveland to represent the brands on tour. The multi-year agreement will see the 25-year-old from Bexleyheath carrying a Srixon bag and playing with a variety of both brands’ equipment, including a combination of Srixon’s Z 565 and Z 965 irons, Cleveland RTX-3 wedges (54, 60) and Srixon’s Z-Star XV golf ball.
