Dodig/Granollers Complete Nitto ATP Finals Doubles Field

Ivan Dodig and Marcel Granollers have clinched the final team spot at the Nitto ATP Finals, to be held at The O2 in London from 12-19 November. The Croatian-Spanish team qualified as a result of Wednesday's play at the Rolex Paris Masters, the final event of the regular 2017 ATP World Tour season.

Dodig and Granollers join Lukasz Kubot and Marcelo Melo, Henri Kontinen and John Peers, Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau, Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares, Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan, Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut, and Ryan Harrison and Michael Venus at the prestigious ATP World Tour season finale, which will see crowds of 17,500 spectators for each session.

The pair earned their right to compete in London as a result of a 29-14 match record in 2017, picking up two ATP World Tour 500 titles at the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam (d. Koolhof/Middelkoop) and at last week’s Swiss Indoors Basel (d. Martin/Roger-Vasselin). They also finished as runners up at the Internazionali BNL d'Italia, an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament in Rome (d. Herbert/Mahut).

Dodig, 32, has now qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals in London for five straight seasons (2013 to present). In a successful partnership with Melo, the pair advanced to the 2014 title match (l. to Bryans).

The 31-year-old Granollers qualified for the three successive years (2012-14) with fellow Spaniard Marc Lopez. On debut in 2012, the pair captured the trophy (d. Bhupathi/Bopanna).
