Weald of Kent Golf Club in Kent is to launch a fund-raising campaign to help raise funds for victims of last week’s earthquake in Nepal. The Headcorn-based club has around 40 members who are Ghurkas with the Queen’s Ghurka Regiment in Maidstone, and it plans to donate a £1 for every green fee played between May 4 and May 8 to towards the earthquake disaster fund.
