Matt Barkley’s Heisman Trophy Campaign Includes a New App

College football season is upon us and as such, it’s time for the Heisman voters to start thinking about whose name they will put on their ballots come December. In the past, certain Heisman candidates who may have played for less televised schools could have easily been forgotten had ESPN decided not to make known their 420 passing yard, 8 TD performance against the University of Maryland University College (it exists, I kid you not…http://www.umuc.edu/).  Fortunately for future small school, small conference stars, Matt Barkley is blazing a trail that will surely catch on and become vital ammo in the arsenal of all potential Heisman candidates.
