Spanish Soccer Star Andreas Iniesta Invests In Wearable Jersey Cameras

One of the world’s biggest soccer stars is backing the use of wearable cameras. FirstV1sion, a Spanish tech startup, has partnered with FC Barcelona star Andreas Iniesta to raise close to 5.3 million for clothes with embedded cameras. Firstv1sion claims its cameras have broadcast quality recording. The startup already has a contract with Euroleague basketball, a partnership with Serge Ibaka of the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Telefonica as a committed shareholder. Telefonica, a Spanish telecommunications provider, has already invested €60,000 in the startup.
