Cabal/Farah Edge Murray/Soares In Rome

Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah reached their third tour-level final of 2018 on Saturday, defeating Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares 7-6(4), 3-6, 10-8 at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia. The Mutua Madrid Open semi-finalists (l. Mektic/Peya) saved five of the seven break points they faced en route to their second victory over Murray and Soares in four FedEx ATP Head2Head meetings. Argentina Open Stars Attend Boca Juniors Victory

Before their first matches at the 2018 Argentina Open, Dominic Thiem, Diego Schwartzman, Robert Farah and Juan Sebastian Cabal visited the district of La Boca to watch 32-time national league football champions Boca Juniors. The quartet, who interestingly could meet in the semi-finals of the doubles event, watched Boca Juniors defeat Temperley 1-0 and played a potential semi-final preview, in foot-tennis form, in front of a huge crowd. "[Our friendship] started years ago and it...

Mirnyi/Oswald) in the first and second week of the season, respectively. And the duo will be able to rely on experience in a Grand Slam final as well. Last year, they fell in an...

Huey/Cabal Cruise To Los Cabos Title

Juan Sebastian Cabal and Treat Huey raced to the doubles title on Saturday at Abierto Mexicano de Tenis Mifel presentado por Cinemex, with the second seeds requiring just 57 minutes to defeat Sergio Galdos and Roberto Maytin 6-2, 6-3.  "It was a great match and a really good week for us. We played some good matches all week, but I thought today was our best tennis," said Huey. "The city was unbelievable and everyone treated the players so well, so I can't wait to come back next year." Cabal/Huey remained in control throughout the contest. The only minor blip came when they were unable to serve out the match at 5-2, but they regrouped with their fifth break of the...
