Inglot/Lindstedt Clinch Second Team Title In Istanbul

It had been exactly two years since Dominic Inglot and Robert Lindstedt, who made the 2015 US Open semi-finals and triumphed that year in Winston-Salem, teamed. But the British-Swedish pair showed that their chemistry is still there, defeating top seeds Ben McLachlan and Nicholas Monroe 3-6, 6-3, 10-8 on Sunday to claim victory at the TEB BNP Paribas Istanbul Open. The triumph marks the 400th match-win of Lindstedt’s career, and the 41-year-old has now won 22 tour-level doubles titles. His partner, Inglot, has now won back-to-back titles after coming out victorious last week in Budapest. He now owns nine ATP World Tour trophies. "I knew starting this year that reaching 400 was a possibility. Maybe I could've done it sooner...

That team was Dominic Inglot and Franko Skugor, capturing the Budapest trophy with a victory against Matwe Middelkoop and Andres Molteni 6-7(8), 6-1, 10-8 in one hour, 34 minutes. "I want to thank everyone who came out and supported us and really showed good support for the doubles, so thank you," Inglot said. It is the first ATP World Tour triumph for the Croatian, Skugor, who had lost his previous six tour-level matches with three different partners prior to arriving in Hungary. His partner, Inglot, claims...

Dominic Inglot and Mate Pavic notched their first team title in their first tournament together, celebrating a 6-4, 2-6, 11-9 triumph over Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez in the Grand Prix Hassan II final on Saturday. For Inglot, it was his seventh ATP World Tour title and the Brit's first of the season. His most recent crown had come in St. Petersburg last year with current World No. 1 Henri Kontinen. Pavic, meanwhile, claimed his sixth ATP World Tour doubles title and first since lifting the 's-Hertogenbosch trophy in 2016 with Michael Venus. "This is the first we played together and we had a great week," said Inglot. "Mate played very well. The level was extremely high, almost like at...
